Götaverken Miljö is a true Cleantech
company, specialising in unique, world-leading products for
the cleaning of environ-mentally hazardous emissions and energy
recovery. ADIOX® for the removal of dioxin and MercOx for the
removal of mercury out of exhaust gases are successful
flagship products.
The
positive environmental effect of our products and their use by
our customers is considerably much greater than the negative
impact of our business travel and of our production and supply
of products and services. Our operations therefore make a very
large net contribution to the creation of a sustainable
society.
The positive effects of our commercial products can be
summarised as follows:
- The removal of dioxins from gas and liquids with ADIOX®
and the elimination of residual products reduce the amount of
strong carcinogenic substances in our environment.
- The removal of acidic gas components - HCl, SO2,
HF- with our multistage scrubbing units with neutralisation before
output of bleed water to a recipient, reduces the
acidification of the environment.
- The removal of heavy metals such as Hg, Cd etc. with our
multistage scrubbing units for the safe deposit of
concentrated residual products, reduces the presence of
toxins/nerve toxins in the environment.
- Energy recovery with our condensation scrubbing units
generates large incomes from the supply of heat and reduces
the environmental burden from the replaced energy
production.
- Our service and maintenance operations prolong the lifetime
of production facilities and increase their availability,
which reduce costs and the use of limited resources.
The negative effects of our operations are considerable
lower than the positive effects, and arise from
- the production of materials, components and additives
and the use of energy and other resources for design,
construction and operation of our commercial products,
- business travel and the transport of materials and
products.
 To be able, at all times, to fulfil the expectations of
our customers and others around us in terms of environmental
improvements and energy recovery is a appreciated spur for us.
Our aim is therefore to develop even more climate-smart and
energy efficient products, also further reducing the negative climate
impact of our operations. Supplying in the promised timescale,
and delivering facilities and services of good quality have
been and are important for the thrust shown in us by our
