Götaverken Miljö wins contract in Finland. Up
Götaverken Miljö has received its first contract for a plant supply in Finland. Ekokem Oy has contracted a plant for flue gas cleaning and energy recovery in Riihimäki, 50 km north of Helsinki. The delivery consists mainly of a scrubber and stack, integrated into the top of the scrubber. It will be a compact and space-saving installation. The scrubber will be installed downstream an existing semi-dry flue gas cleaning system to improve the flue gas cleaning. The scrubber, equipped with ADIOX® material for dioxin removal, will in addition to flue gas cleaning also be used to efficiently recover the energy out of the hot flue gases.
Last winter Babcock & Wilcox Vølund A/S won the new boiler contract to the Ekokem plant. Götaverken Miljö now receives another common reference plant together with its owner.
